What Route to follow
Depending on how long time you have available on the island, you can follow several routes.
North is the most popular
The trip that most of the visitors on cruise ships follow is the one to the north part of the island. Paleokastritsa is the most famous place on the island, and is considered as a must-visit. Exiting the port you have to turn right. Then, everything comes easy as you will be driving on the national Corfu-Paleokastritsa road in a couple of minutes, and find many signs for Paleokastritsa as well.
In any case, we recommend you continue your trip driving up to Lakones village from where you can enjoy the breathetaking view of Paleokastritsa. Continue driving higher the mountain, following the signs to Troumpeta and return this way back to the port if you have limited time. Otherwise, make your way yp to Sidari, and for the ones with plenty of time, return through the east coast, visiting Kassiopi and more beautiful areas of the north.
Best Beaches
Best beaches in middle Corfu can be found on the west Coast, where most of the most sandy beaches are located.
